You might remember Lightnin's sire, The Warlord, as the magnificent Appaloosa in the "Crying Indian" TV commercial. Lightnin' is a 15.2, performance-bred great-grandson of Joker B. (see Appaloosa Horse Club Hall of Fame). He has been a true black producer with great feet, nice movement and a calm, willing disposition that has passed on to all his foals. Feather loves to jump
Feather is Lightnin's nephew, by MF Sugarbear and out of Ebony Spotted Cloud. The Warlord is his grandfather on both sides and he is a great-great grandson of Joker B. At age 3, spring of 2005 will be Feather's first breeding year. He has great conformation and a very smooth trot. Like his uncle, Feather has great feet and a wonderful disposition. Although very dark at birth, Feather has roaned out to mostly blue with a white snowcap.
When you see his tail you will know how his breeder, Diane Adams, named him. Feather has never met a fence he didn't want to jump and would be anyone's first choice for a hunter/jumper sire.
